SEED works primarily with the poor and marginalized farmers in the Jajpur district. Particularly we have focused oil promotion of organic farming among the farmers, in the production of vegetables and also plantation crops . We have trained farmers with the support of various resource persons on various composting techniques, sustainable agricultural practices, natural pesticides, etc thereby considerably reducing the use of chemical fertilizers, insecticides.
We, at SEED, envision as 'a just and equitable society: where the poor communities live a decent and dignified life'. SEED’s mission is to empower marginalized farmers in Jaipur by promoting sustainable and organic farming practices that reduce costs and protect the environment. We aim to enhance livelihoods through training in composting, natural pesticides, and value-added product development, ensuring a better income for farmers. Additionally, SEED is committed to supporting education by providing scholarships to deserving students, enabling them to pursue higher education and break the cycle of poverty. Our health awareness and prevention programs focus on improving access to healthcare.
SEED envisions a prosperous and sustainable future for marginalized communities in Jaipur, where farmers thrive through organic and eco-friendly agricultural practices, reducing costs and enhancing environmental balance. We aim to create a society where every child, regardless of their background, has access to quality education, empowering them to pursue higher learning and break the cycle of poverty. Our vision extends to a community where health awareness and access to basic healthcare are prioritized, ensuring the well-being of all, particularly the most vulnerable. Through these initiatives, SEED strives to build a self-reliant, educated, and healthy community for generations to come.
